LIBERDADE CIRCUIT

The Architectural Complex of Pampulha

Ideal place for sightseeing, Pampulha is a unique place, one of the main postcards of Belo Horizonte. The Architectural Complex of Pampulha is formed by works of Oscar Niemeyer, built between 1942 and 1944, at the request of the then mayor of Belo Horizonte, Juscelino Kubitschek.

Diamond Mall

Located in the Lourdes neighborhood, DiamondMall has more than 150 stores, including restaurants, movie theaters and bookstores. One of the attractions of the mall is the exclusive Market Square with vegetables and fruits. Six movie theaters, gym and food court are also some of the attractions of the mall. In addition, the venue offers baby changing facilities and baby car rental service.

ARTS AND HANDICRAFT FAIR IN AFONSO PENA AVENUE

Latin America's biggest outdoor fair grabs the visitor's attention due to the richness and diversity of the works on show. Conceived by a group of artists and art critics form Minas Gerais, it began in the Praça da Liberdade in 1969. By 1991, the fair had grown too big for the square and was moved to Afonso Pena Avenue. Inhotim Institute

An open air museum with one of the most relevant collections of contemporary art in the world and a botanical collection that gathers rare species from all continents.

CENTRAL MARKET

Located in the centre of Belo Horizonte, the Mercado Central houses around 400 shops. Inaugurated in 1929, this traditional tourist attraction offers a variety of products such as high-quality fruit and vegetables, dairy products and Mineiro sweets, regional handicrafts, medicinal herbs and roots, in addition to a range of services. Belo Horizonte Fashion Museum

The Belo Horizonte Fashion Museum - MUMO, is the first public museum dedicated to the activity in Brazil. It's an initiative of Belo Horizonte city hall and the Municipal Foundation of Culture - FMC.

The Museum of Arts and Work

The Museum of Arts and Work tells the story of dozens of professional activities that gave rise to the transformation industry in Minas Gerais. There are 2,500 original pieces from the 18th to the 20th centuries, including instruments, utensils, tools, machines and equipment.

Patio Savassi Mall

The Pátio Savassi Mall is defined as a lifestyle center. The project includes shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment spaces, with streets and squares, each of which deserves a different architectural treatment. One of the main attractions of the mall is the eight movie theaters belonging to the Cinemark network.
